Gratitude is the antidote jealously, fear and insecurity. Building our awareness and appreciation of what we already have in our lives is a foundation practice of happiness. Anyone can do it – just take a moment to consider one thing you are grateful for right now. This is a lovely thing to do as you are falling asleep. It doesn’t take much discipline or effort – just let your mind drift to the things that you can be thank full for – each breath, each heartbeat, each fluctuation of mind.
